There's no better option to say "I do" than Tara Plantation. As a rustic barn venue with a vintage flair in traditional Southern Belle style, we know you'll fall in love with our location at first sight. Built in 2017, the barn itself can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests and highlights a lovely fireplace where many couples say their vows. Another stunning feature of our barn includes the rows of chandeliers lighting the walkway as brides make their way down the aisle.
With exposed, vaulted ceilings and rich-amber colored floors, you won't have a hard time making this venue your own. Just beyond, you'll see miles of pasture land and wildlife galore such as turkeys, rabbits, and foxes nearby. The grounds provide the perfect backdrop for extraordinary wedding and engagement photo shoots.
There's no limit to the amenities you'll experience at Tara Plantation Wedding Venue. We do our part to include everything you need to ensure that your day is perfect in more ways than one. Among our many convenient features, we offer a full prep kitchen, tables, chairs, an immense variety of decor items, including vases, candle arbors, wedding signs, and so much more.
When constructing our rustic barn venue, we decided we wanted to offer our guests more than just a location to host their wedding but a place that had everything they required to make their occasion special.

BRIDAL & GROOM cottages
A unique feature we offer here at Tara Plantation Wedding Venue includes our two lovely cottages for our brides and grooms. Each of these personalized cottages comes fully accommodated with bathrooms, full-sized plush beds, bathrooms and heating and air conditioning. As a gesture, we permit our newly weds to stay in the bridal cottage the first night of their wedding!
Along with the plethora of amenities and stunning features of our venue location, we offer convenient and affordable pricing options our guests can appreciate. It's our goal to ensure that brides and grooms can have the wedding of their dreams without sacrificing heavily on their budget. What's Included:
- Friday: All day to add any additional decorations, etc. (on top of what is provided from the venue.)
- One hour rehearsal on Friday night at 6:00. (No rehearsal dinners unless an additional fee is paid.)
- Cash only. No credit cards or checks.
- $500 down to hold the date. (Monthly payments up until the month before the wedding.)
- Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm. (Includes overnight stay for bride and groom.)
- $4350 is the total price to rent. (This includes the $500 down payment.)
